Meiling shoots around her colored bullets, of which, they always land in the same place. In other words, the spellcard is completely static and you can do the same dodges over and over again.
Non-Spell #2[edit | edit source]
Meiling shoots in three random ways: bullets around her, bullets above her and bullets with a linear shape. All of these are random.
Meanwhile, she summons fairies from which they start firing round bullets and kunais. These two are aimed at the player hitbox, so the strategy is to stream while dodging the random bullets in your way.

Non-Spell #3[edit | edit source]
Meiling shoots bullets around her that spin and then shoot out. There are blue kunais that leave a clear path to the left and red kunais to the right, and finally, bullets that are random but in a short area.
The most difficult part of this nonspell lies in the precise movement of going left and right, especially if Meiling is very low on the screen. It is not enough to use only focus, you must also use unfocus to dodge it in time.
Depending on whether you are Reimu or Marisa, it is advisable to know how your shot-type moves both in focus and unfocus (because both have different speed), so it is a matter of muscle memory and getting used to it.
Note: There is a separate strategy where you can avoid doing this precise dodge. You have to capture the spellcard 「Flower Dream Vine」when Meiling is at the top of the screen, so that she can initiate 3rd nonspell from there. You can use this strategy in case you have trouble with precise moves.
